Recently, the electric infrared heating technology of Jiangsu Huineng Gas Catalytic Technology Co., Ltd. has been successfully applied to the sheet metal production line of a manufacturing enterprise in Vietnam, achieving efficient integration of moisture drying and powder solidification processes, demonstrating significant technical advantages.

This Vietnamese enterprise primarily produces various types of sheet metal parts and faces challenges in the production process, such as high energy consumption, long time, and low efficiency in traditional drying and curing processes. Jiangsu Huineng provided a customized electric infrared heating solution tailored to the customer's needs, specifically designed for the moisture drying process temperature requirements of sheet metal parts at around 120°C, with a time control of about 12 minutes, as well as the coating line required for powder curing production at 180°C. Compared to traditional heating methods, Huineng's electric infrared technology offers advantages such as fast temperature rise, uniform heating, strong penetrating power, minimal heat loss, and energy saving. It eliminates the need for long-term heat preservation and preheating like convection furnaces, making it particularly suitable for intermittent production. Electric infrared can directly act on the moisture and powder coating molecules on the surface of sheet metal parts, achieving synchronous rapid drying and curing both internally and externally.
Rapid heating enables the powder to melt and level quickly, helping to reduce the "orange peel" phenomenon on sheet metal parts and achieve a smoother, higher gloss surface. Due to the short heating time, the overall heating of the workpiece is relatively less, which helps to reduce work deformation caused by thermal stress, especially for thin-walled metal parts (such as sheet metal, chassis, and cabinets). At the same time, it also reduces the chance of dust falling on the coating that has not yet fully cured. This not only shortens the production cycle, improves the consistency of product quality, reduces equipment investment, but also reduces energy consumption by about 30%.
After the production line was put into operation, the remarkable efficiency of the project earned high praise from the production manager of the Vietnamese enterprise.
